This custom-built round dining table features a striking architectural cross-brace base similar to Antonio Citterio’s iconic Xilos design for BB Italia Maxalto. It is crafted to an exceptionally high standard, boasting a significantly heavier and more substantial top than the original.

This custom table is built to a significantly higher standard of weight and material density than the authentic B&B Italia model. The tabletop is exceptionally heavy, providing immence stability and a luxurious, substantial feel that is immediately apparent upon contact. It features a premium, dark-stained wood core with a flawless, high-gloss veneer that exhibits a deep, rich exotic wood grain pattern, reminiscent of Macassar ebony or a saturated wenge.
Finish and Condition:
The table’s deep, dark finish has a mirror-like high-gloss lacquer that brings out the complexity of the wood grain. This table is structurally sound and in overall excellent condition. Please note: As is common with high-gloss finishes, the surface shows numerous fine, shallow scratches from gentle, careful use, primarily visible upon close inspection or under direct light.
